Back in time, The Legendary DC3 Around the World

Exactly 77 years after its very first flight, the Breitling DC-3 left for a unique trip around the world. Between March and September 2017, DC-3 HB-IRJ made an unprecedented world tour and the device could be admired at countless events and air shows. A top performance of this aircraft that has left an indelible mark on aviation history. One of the main goals of the Breitling DC-3 World Tour and pilot-owner Francisco Agullo and his team was to promote aviation heritage and get young generations excited for the legendary DC-3. That is also the reason why the world's most famous aviation photographer, Katsuhiko Tokunaga, was invited to capture this epic journey in beautiful images. An extensive selection of this unique visual material was bundled in this special edition and commented on by the protagonists of this incredible adventure.
