In the previous part of the publication (AERO No. 104), a series of the initial Sukhoi Su-27 model was presented, which later became the basis for a wide number of variants and subvariants. The original Su-27 model is directly based on the T10K (Su-27K) aircraft, in serial form called the Su-33, which is presented in detail in this work. And by way of reverse engineering with a clone of the original export Su-27SK as well as one captured T-10K prototype, the Chinese J-15 aircraft, in the development of which the Russian manufacturer had no part, became. Along the same lines, the technology and airframe from the original Su-27UB became the basis for the Chinese J-16 aircraft, which closes this section. Two-seater variants with side-by-side seats are also described in this publication. The initial one was the T10KUB-1 naval project based on the T10K (Su-27K) onboard model, from which the first and only flying prototype also borrowed a substantial part of the airframe group. And even though the subsequent attack model T10V (in the Su-34 series) represents a completely new type in design, it refers to the T10KUB-1 in many ways. This publication therefore describes all models that are structurally based on the original Su-27 and Su-27UB series. In the final third part, modernization projects will be described, which in many cases rely on an airframe derived from the Su-27UB, but in terms of equipment they benefit from solutions prepared or even developed for the Su-27M modernization project and in many ways with the original Su-27 variant they move away. These bear the designation Su-30 and the imaginary peak is the contemporary type Su-35, which is usually classified as generation 4.5. Just from the list of versions, it is clear how difficult it is to grasp the genesis of the T10 model in all its variants. This is because it is one of the most successful multi-purpose aircraft in history, which in terms of the number of versions represents probably the most fragmented family in the world. The reason is that, in contrast to the usual block modifications in the West, Su-27/30/33/34/35 users were waiting for modernization and versions specifically oriented to individual customers.
The publication is in A4 format, full color on high-quality chalk paper, V2 binding, 52 pages, many color photos, color side views.
