This resin model of the Miles Aerovan is one of Kiwi Resin's latest kit, and features separate flaps, detailed cockpit and decals for Meridian Air maps
Meridian Air Maps operated Aerovan 4 G-AISF on aerial survey work from October 1955 until it crashed on takeoff from Manchester (Ringway) on 29 April 1957. The accident killed the pilot Jean Lennox Bird, the first woman to receive RAF wings, and two passengers.

This kit is not for the inexperienced modeller!
It is made by a small one-man operation and is not of the highest standards. However, with some TLC a sweet little model can be constructed of a sweet little British plane
