Product description

Input/output module IMPORTANT: You need the GSA-55 Central Interface Module to operate this module ! Compatibility: FS2004, FSX, FSXSTEAM, P3D, XPlane Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10. GSA-055 Central Interface Module required. GSA-I0 The Input/output module (I/O) is an additional module that allows the user to control inputs and outputs. The card can accept 48 digital inputs (for e.g. control switches), 32+2 outputs to control LEDs and 8 analogue inputs to connect potentiometers. No need to buy three different cards to have switches, led's or throttle control. You will find all you need on this one card. The I/O module is connected as such to the central interface (GSA55) and is recognized by the software. To set it up, you can first connect the switches/leds/ potmeters, run the software and assign a function to each of them. How does it work For switches, you can connect normal on/off switches, momentary switches or rotary switches. In case of rotary each position can be assigned separately which e.g. makes it simple to create a more position flaps control lever. LED's can be standard LED's with maximum 15 mA current. Most LEDs (if working at 2Volt or lower) can be connected in series giving you more light and compatibility with many standard indicator housings. LEDs are grouped in two groups of 16 LEDs. Two extra LEDs can be used as "master" LEDs that will light up when one of the 32 LEDs is switched on. Per LED can be selected whether or which of the two Masters must be lit. Potentiometers are in the range of 5-15 Kilo-ohm and can be used to drive throttle, speedbrake, flap position, etc. In general linear potentiometers are used and each analogue input hat a resolution of 1024 positions. A definable zero cross point enables the use of potentiometers for positive and negative values, like throttle forward/reverse. Ease of use The card is very easy to use and to setup. A very user friendly test and card-layout function is integrated in the Control Program. No programming knowledge is required. The I/O module gets its function from a list that can be modified. Every offset from FS or FSUIPC can be added, but keystrokes can be configured as well. All values that are used for gauges (or offsets that can be used to create gauges) can drive the LED's as the ON/OFF cross point (and either ON or OFF below that cross point) are configurable. Important ! You need the GSA-55 Central Interface Module to operate the GSA-IO Module. For more info search for GSA-55.
